  • The characters and personalities of the Rugby League player from yesteryear
  • The star players transition from full time playing contracts into retirement and everyday life
  • An emphasis on healthy body, sound mind and mateship

" The Legends of League Tournament will be held at Central Coast Stadium once again in 2018!"

Classic rugby league entertainment played over 6 hours on Saturday 17th November, 2018.

The tournament will pay homage to the skill, ability and personality that continue to be trademarks of the players and ambassadors throughout retirement and their professional careers.

This Rugby League festival will put these former players to the test, all for a worthy cause to raise funds for the official tournaments charity partner.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The Tournament will feature teams competing in a round robin format for over $105,000 in Prizemoney. Featuring two pools of teams, with all teams playing each once in their respective pool. The top two finishing teams in each pool will then crossover and play one another in a semi-final format, with two teams advancing through to the Grand Final.

  • The winning team will take home $75,000, and runner-up $30,000.
  • The playing format will enable star players to feature in every game. It will be an action packed 6 hours of entertainment where former players will pit their trademark skills, tackles, kicks in play and dynamic try scoring ability in every game featured.
  • A Bonus 5 point try zone will feature between the goal posts in the in-goal area to promote try scoring opportunities. All conversions will be drop-kicks and taken within 30 seconds of scoring a try.
